My name is Marloes de Haan, I'm 24 years old and a Bachelor in Communication, with a specialization in Visual Communication. I recently started studying Linguistics at VU University. I've been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil (I won a drawing contest at the age of 2), mostly inspired by cartoons like Ren & Stimpy.

Next to drawing I love watching movies (Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson, Park Chan Wook, Hayao Miyazaki), going to concerts and listening to music (Belle and Sebastian, Yo La Tengo, Bob Dylan, Prince), travelling (South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Iceland, and Europe), Martini in the sun, reading English literature (Haruki Murakami, High Fidelity), reading comics (Spekkie Big) and animals (cats, armadillo's).
